What a wonderful time

We came home from the mountains on Tuesday night. We had such a great time. Just checking on the Aunt's cabin. The road was so washed out that when we tried to cross the creek that goes across the driveway, we were so stuck. All the way up to the bumper on the truck. It took awhile but we finally made it out. The girls had fun playing in the mud while we were trying to get out of it! oh, how things change when you get all grown up! After that it was such a great time being up there and enjoying the forest with all the sounds, sights and smells. My man cut down a tree that was concerning the Aunt. It was a good thing too, because almost half of it was rotten. Talked to the neighbors and they said there was 12 inches of rain in a little over 36 hours! That's a lot for all of us drought-stricken people!
