I have never canned tomatoes before, but after my summer garden I had so many tomatoes from one plant that I just had to do something! It was a little work and we haven't opened a jar but they sure are pretty just sitting on my counter. I have to feel a little proud too because we are eating our own food from beginning to end! What feeling of accomplishment!
